Around the House 03-10-2014

In this week's "Around the House" segment, Host Don Magruder, the CEO of Ro-Mac Lumber & Supply Inc., in Leesburg, Florida is  speaking with three special guests, manufacturers representatives, who can tell us the features and benefits on a variety of new building products that will interest both contractors and homeowners.  Today's show will have three segments showcasing new products which we believe will be a growing trend in innovation in building materials.  This special edition radio show discussion is being taped by LSTV (Lake-Sumter TV) and will air 20 times on the LSTV Channel, which is a local Lake County Florida cable station.

Watch the show on local cable channels the week of 3/17/2014.

Don's first guest is Bob Gora Territory Manager for Royal Building Products which is one of the nation's largest manufacturer of pvc cellular products.  PVC cellular products are sweeping the construction industry as a solution to rot and deterioration while giving the appearance of wood.

Don's second guest is Melanie Bisson the Southeast U.S. Territory Manager for Roxul Insulation.  Roxul Insulation is an exciting energy efficient, sound-proofing insulation product made from natural stone and recycled materials.  Roxul Insulation is fire resistant and water repellent.  Roxul is easy to work with and a breeze to install, it cuts quickly and accurately with a serrated knife and can easily achieve optimal fit around pipes, electrical boxes, wriring, ductwork, and between studs and joists that are less than a standard width.

Don's final guest of the day is Eddie Robinson a Residential Sales Representative for YKK AP America Inc.  YKK AP manufacturers vinyl windows and doors that are designed for years of trouble-free use, energy savings, and protection against harsh weather extremes. Today's new product from YKK being discussed is neat glass.  Eddie Robinson will also discuss with our viewers and listeners the unique benefits of choosing vinyl windows over aluminium and why the state of Florida will soon not allow aluminum windows in the construction of new homes.
